India Runway Week

So last night, I attended the India Runway Week, one of the top three fashion week platform of India which is held specially for young emerging designers. The event started yesterday, October 6th at DLF Place, Saket, New Delhi and ends on October 8th.

The opening fashion show of the event was by the famous fashion designer, James Ferreira which I was lucky to attend. The collection started off really simple with a number of modest white draped and flowy dresses paired with nude heels.

Then as the show proceeded, the designs of the dresses became more intricate and glamorous. I love how they built the show starting it initially from straightforward designs and going up to more knotty designs. Starting it off with a set of grey dresses and then moving onto dresses with a vivid color range.

After a set of lovely western dresses, came a series of trendsetting ethnic wear which were absolutely phenomenal. They were ethnic wear with a modern style to them which was very remarkable and I loved the color theme which James picked.

The collection had style, class, modernity and a traditional touch to it which made it complete. The collection was very appealing and exquisite. Overall, it was a great start to a wonderful event. Great designs!

This was the first time I saw a proper fashion show and it was DOPE AF. *calms down* So that's all for this post and I hope you liked it. Ta!
